Challenge

While they had completed most of their copper to fiber conversion, a lack of integrated workflows meant redundant data entry and limited visibility across their expanding network. Managing a  complex fiber network with outdated tools presented substantial obstacles for Tbaytel.

Problem

Tbaytel’s disconnected systems and aging infrastructure presented numerous operational challenges. Using Ericsson Network Engineer (ENE) in a very limited capacity—primarily to post as-built information—while separately managing their network through CAD systems created a fragmented approach that resulted in reduced operational stability and extended downtimes that impacted important projects.

Tbaytel implemented 3-GIS | Web, 3-GIS | Admin, and 3-GIS | Mobile for their on-premises deployment. The most critical deliverable though: the data migration from ENE to 3-GIS. This transition provides Tbaytel with comprehensive network visibility and enables better management of their fiber infrastructure.
