GasLINE has been one of the leading fiber-optic cable infrastructure providers for more than 25 years. It has a nationwide network covering over 32,000 km. This includes broadband access to communities and customer-driven expansion of mobile 5G networks. GasLINE has network interconnections to cross-regional fiber-optic infrastructures in cities (e.g. with city and regional carriers) and to network operators in neighboring countries. The network topology includes telecommunication centers (telehouses and PoPs), the relevant Internet exchange nodes and centers of the ICT and media industry.

Supporting federal and state objectives to expand fiber access across Germany, GasLINE is working to deploy an additional 5,500 km of fiber in the span of 3 years.
