TIMS is a user friendly tool that provides a precise graphic depiction of your transmission equipment so accurate maintenance records can be created, collected, and maintained.
| Originally conceived in 1996 with the requirements input of over 400 electric power companies, TIMS is available as Version 4.1 today and is in use at many transmission companies. As a graphical driven database, TIMS allows your field inspectors to identify any problems with, or related to, your transmission equipment. With TIMS, you’ll not only know where your equipment is, you’ll know its condition; every brace and bracket, every conductor and insulator, who last touched it, and when it’s due for more maintenance and inspections.
