Decatur, AL – March 11, 2011 – 3-GIS, an Alabama based software development and services company has received the ‘2011 Esri Partners Choice Award’ and has also been awarded the ‘Private Web Application Award’.
The awards recognize 3-GIS’s achievements in leading the development of thin client, web-based solutions based on Esri’s ArcGIS Server while delivering excellent customer service to its clients, as well as achieving sustainable business growth. 3-GIS’s president Tom Counts and Chief Technical Operator Tommy Siniard were presented the awards from Esri President, Jack Dangermond at the Esri Business Partner Conference in Palm Springs, California. The ‘Esri Partners Choice Award’ award is given to the partner who, “made considerable contributions in the field of geographic information system technology and to Esri over the past year”. This is the second time that 3-GIS has received the Partners Choice Award from Esri. The prestigious ‘Esri Private Web Application Award’ represents the “best in show” of the Business Partner of the Year winners. The award was chosen by over 2,000 Esri partners worldwide. These awards follow 3-GIS’s recognition by Esri as ‘New Business Partner of the Year’ in 2008.
