Tom Counts, President
Tom has over twenty (20) years of experience and education in project and program management; originally investing 10 years at Intergraph and then as a founder of MESA Solutions. Tom delivered operational excellence at MESA Solutions as company President and maintained an annual growth greater than 35% during his entire tenure there. Tom is an evangelist of GIS solutions and is often invited to present his vision at various gatherings around the world. At MESA, beyond operational management, Tom developed the international channel program and product management organizations. He then delivered for Telcordia Technologies as a Vice-President of Product Management before founding 3-GIS, LLC in his hometown of Decatur.
Jerry Golden, Chief Operating Officer
Jerry has over nineteen (19) years of experience and education in project management; systems analysis, design, and implementation; and software interface development. Jerry has spent the last 15 years building and managing systems integration services groups at Intergraph Corporation, MESA Solutions, and Telcordia Technologies. Jerry has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University. Jerry’s industry focus has been in the AM/FM/GIS telecommunications (fiber, copper, and coaxial networks), and utility (electric and gas) solutions arena, where he has held the roles and responsibilities as vice president, managing partner, executive director, project manager, technical lead, and chief system architect.
Tommy Siniard, Chief Technical Officer
Tommy has over twenty-five (25) years of experience and education in product development and management, systems design, and software interface development. Tommy has been involved with large software development projects for various projects and products, with the last 15 years focused on the Telecommunication industry. Tommy has visited with over 50 Telecommunication Companies in more than 20 countries which gives him a unique understanding of the problems facing the marketplace today.
David Hart, PMP, VP-Program Management
David has over ten (10) years of experience and education in the technology industry and over five (5) years experience managing high-profile, time sensitive projects. David’s main focus has been consultancy and management throughout the entire software cycle. This includes business process analysis, business case development, requirements gathering, system analysis, design, and implementation, data conversion and migration consultancy, and software interface analysis, design, and development.
Eric Fulcher, VP Utilities Practice
Eric has over fifteen (15) years of experience and education in project management, systems analysis, design, and implementation, advanced algorithm development, and software interface development. Eric earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama He has spent the last 10 years managing system integration services at Intergraph Corporation, MESA Solutions, and Telcordia Technologies. Eric’s industry focus has been in the AM/FM/GIS utility (electric and gas) solutions arena.
Danny Windham, Corporate Advisor and Chairman of the Board
Danny Windham currently serves CEO of Digium, a privately help Huntsville, AL based supplier of open source communications products and technology. Digium is the original creator and primary developer of Asterisk, the industry's first open source telephony platform. Before joining Digium in early 2007, Windham was President and Chief Operating Officer of ADTRAN, Inc. ADTRAN is a publicly-held supplier of networking and communications equipment with annual revenues in excess of $500M. Danny holds a BSEE degree from Mississippi State University (1981) and an MBA from Florida Tech (1994). Danny joined ADTRAN in 1989 through the acquisition of Processing Telecom Technologies - a company he co-founded in 1986.
Business interests outside of Digium include serving as an advisor or board member for small local companies and community interests include serving as a board member of the Heart of the Valley YMCA, participating as a house leader in the construction of homes through Habitat for Humanity, and participating in the Angel Flight Network as a volunteer pilot. In 2001, Danny was selected as a Distinguished Engineering Fellow by Mississippi State University. He is married with two daughters, ages 20 and 16 and is a an active member of the Asbury United Methodist Church of Madison, AL.

Britt Sexton, Corporate Advisor and Member of the Board
Britt Sexton currently serves as CEO of First Southern Finance, CEO of Sexton’s Inc., a diversified Private Holding Company, and is a Director of First American Bank, the lead bank of Alabama National BanCorporation (ANB) and one of Alabama’s largest and finest banking corporations. Britt holds a BS degree from the University of Alabama and supports business and philanthropy across Alabama and the South. Britt is actively engaged in Rotary International, The Decatur Chamber of Commerce, the University of Alabama President’s Cabinet, and the North Alabama Industrial Development Association.
In 2001, Sexton’s Inc. began a revitalization project on the waterfront in Decatur, Alabama and has recreated the past in a comfortable yet vibrant setting that is drawing high-tech business back to Decatur. 3-GIS is one of a long list of businesses Britt has encouraged to locate in Decatur and has provided selfless support in helping 3-GIS find excellent banking support, office facilities, legal advisors, insurance, and benefits programs. In helping 3-GIS establish itself, it became readily apparent that Britt has become a cornerstone in the community.
3-GIS is humbled and proud to have Mr. Sexton’s participation and guidance as Corporate Advisor and active Board Member.
Chris Harmon, Corporate Counsel
Chris Harmon provides 3-GIS with corporate counsel services along with legal and financial guidance from his office with Maynard Cooper and Gale in Birmingham, Alabama. Chris handles mergers and acquisitions, private equity, general corporate and securities matters for private and publicly held companies with a nonexclusive concentration in transactions relating to health care, technology, and financial institutions. He also advises companies on corporate governance, including compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, securities exchange listing requirements, and complex fiduciary duty matters.
Chris received his BS degree from the University of Alabama in 1985 and later his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. During law school Chris served as the Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review. Chris has been recognized by Chambers USA as one of America’s Leading Business Lawyers and later selected in 2005-2006 by Best Lawyers in America for his contribution to Corporate Law.
Chris is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association, and is also a Certified Public Accountant. When Chris isn’t burning the midnight oil defining and defending corporate law, he can be found participating in the University of Alabama’s President’s Cabinet and the Sunrise Rotary of Birmingham.
