Dear Fellow GIS Fans,
We have started off on an amazing 2011 here at 3-GIS. Our partner and customer base more than doubled as more and more companies are finding 3-GIS the affordable full featured answer to traditional GIS. While many initially found it hard to believe that we were bringing a full edit experience to the web, more are realizing that we have made GIS consumable in ways previously considered impossible.
We are proud to announce we have been named the ‘2011 Esri Partners Choice Award Winner’; given to a partner who "made considerable contributions in the field of geographic information system technology and to Esri over the past year”. 3-GIS has also been awarded the ‘2011 Esri Private Web Application Award’ chosen by over 2,000 Esri partners worldwide. It truly is humbling to be recognized by our peers for such prestigious awards.
In our daily lives we achieve access to information through the web, on our computers, mobile phones and notepads. The technology at 3-GIS is no exception. Smart. Simple. Fast. Utilizing Esri’s ArcGIS server, we offer access to complex levels of information and data in a user friendly format. In these times especially, companies are expecting systems that are easy to deploy and simple to train.
We’ve recently unveiled 3-GIS Command Center, an Esri-enabled and ESi WebEOC integrated Operational Picture and Situational Awareness solution. Command Center is designed to give an immediate big picture of an integrated Emergency Operations Command Center displaying critical data from utilities, telecom, emergency responders, local communities, and more. This cutting edge browser-based solution is light and fast. You share your vital data in real time with many sources. It’s no small wonder we have so many clients interested in deploying this application.
And of course our flagship Express Solution remains at the forefront of Esri’s ArcGIS server technology. Supervisors or clerks using Network Express can easily perform queries and deliver maintenance tasks to personnel. All inspection data for the network is in the geodatabase and accessing the network has never been easier. The mobile Field Express allows the user in the field to capture data, edit and update. The information obtained can then be automatically synchronized with the geodatabase. The really exciting “next chapter” of the Express Solution is our emphasis on enhancing the mobile experience with Android and iOS, already in prototype.
The total cost of ownership of these true Thin Client products excels over the cost of any one application from older existing solutions. New technology, combined with our decades of experience of deploying GIS to telecom and utility facility management, makes 3-GIS a logical choice. From an entry standpoint 3-GIS is unrivaled in the marketplace. Dollar for dollar the level of quality, functionality, and simplicity available in the Express Solution will put your company’s management and accountants alike at ease. The value of 3-GIS solutions are just one of the many reasons companies are rethinking their strategy when configuring their networks.
Our increased expansion into markets outside of the United States, including Spain, Greece, Brazil, Jamaica, Trinidad, and the United Arab Emirates is ongoing. We’ve recently partnered with “Data+”, Russia’s leading provider of technologies and solutions in the field of GIS, to move into Eastern Europe. These rewarding partnerships further strengthen our global presence and provide more clients with cost-effective cutting edge innovations.
Our focus on products and customer service remains undaunted. At the end of the day what really matters is that you gain value from using our products and services. We commit ourselves to you, our friends and customers, to stay pertinent, to simplify your job of asset management, and to do so in the most technically efficient way. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours truly,
Tom Counts
